SUMMARY:Big Band Universidad Complutense + Orquesta de Jazz Universidad Edimburgo en Paraninfo UCM
DESCRIPTION:La Big Band de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid nació en el curso 2004‐2005\, a partir de la Asociación de Músicos y Amigos del Jazz de la UCM\, grupo apoyado desde el entonces Vicerrectorado de Atención a la Comunidad Universitaria de esta Universidad. \nLa Big Band UCM se fundó con un doble espíritu: representativo e integrador. En efecto\, se trata de un grupo en el se integran todos los estamentos de la comunidad universitaria\, ‐alumnos y ex alumnos (nacionales y extranjeros)\, personal de administración y servicios así como\, finalmente\, docentes e investigadores\, procedentes todos ellos de la práctica totalidad de los más de 50 centros que forman la UCM. \nEn este concierto se interpretarán temas estándar del repertorio internacional del jazz. \nHannah Ruddick-Trentmann\, Directora de la Orquesta de Jazz de la Universidad de Edimburgo\nGabriel Gomila\, Director de la Big Band de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid \n20 de febrero – 18:30 \n Paraninfo de la Facultades de Filología y Filosofía \nGratuito con reserva de entrada \nentradas aquí
