DJ Ibiricu estará al mando de la música pinchada en los últimos sets del jueves en la Sala Las Vegas en Madrid Swing Exchange
Para construir cada sesión, vuelve a su método habitual: revisar su colección —toda en su ordenador, a la antigua— y hacerse algunas preguntas clave: ¿quién vendrá?,¿quién toca antes y después?, ¿cómo es el espacio?, ¿qué queremos celebrar?
Has bailado con sus favoritas en sesiones de MAD for Swing y en algún festival de blues. Aquí habrá swing o blues, según el horario, adaptándose a la energía de la pista y a las personas que la habitan.
En el swing, «no faltarán temas que invitan a bailar desde el primer compás, con riffs potentes, el piano tomando el mando y esos juegos de ritmo y call & response que hacen que el cuerpo responda casi sin pensarlo.»
En el blues pone un foco especial: le interesa «compartir la riqueza de los distintos idioms que han llegado hasta nosotros, mostrando la diversidad de músicas, matices y estructuras que forman este universo.»
Su selección de música nace de años de escucha y de pista, de conciertos vividos y de una colección construida con cuidado desde que el swing entró en su vida en 2001.

To build each session, she returns to her usual method: reviewing her collection —all on her computer, old-school style— and asking herself a «few key questions: Who’s coming? Who’s playing before and after me? What’s the space like? What are we celebrating?»
You might have danced to her favorites if you’ve been to her MAD for Swing sessions or various blues festivals.
For this event, there will be both swing or blues depending on the vibes of the moment, adapting to the energy of the floor and the people inhabiting it. In the swing, there’ll be no shortage of tracks to get you dancing from the very first beat, featuring powerful riffs, the piano taking command, and those rhythmic games of call and response that make the body react almost without thinking.
Then when she brings on the blues, she’s sharing the wealth she has mined from the different idioms that have come down to us, showcasing the diversity of music, its nuances and the structures that form this universe.
Her music selection is born from years of listening and dancing at events and live concerts. She has been curating her collection with exquisite care since swing first entered her life in 2001.
Whether you want to discover something new, recognise a classic, or simply let yourself go, her music offers you the perfect moment to get out there onto the floor or just listen while you rest and take a breather.
