Bababop / La Demo Swing Lab
Bababop vuelve a Madrid Swing Exchange.
Esta compañía de danza, especializada en bailes afroamericanos de las décadas de 1920-1940, está formada por 11 bailarinas y bailarines de la escena madrileña, entre las que se incluye el equipo de la escuela de La Demo.
Con numerosas actuaciones en directo y competiciones en grupo a sus espaldas, como el ILHC Europe, en esta ocasión nos traen un show inspirado en el tema «Ladie’s Lullaby», versionado por la banda francesa Carolina Reapers Swing. Un número que pone en relieve la música swing, la esencia social y explosiva del Lindy Hop, el estilo propio y, como siempre, la fuerza de grupo.
Bababop returns to the Madrid Swing Exchange.
This dance company comprises 11 dancers from the Madrid scene, including the team from the La Demo. school, performing Afro-American dances from the 1920s-1940s.
With numerous live performances and group competitions under their belt —such as ILHC Europe— on this occasion, they bring us a show inspired by the track «Ladie’s Lullaby,» covered by the French band Carolina Reapers. The routine showcases the essence of Lindy Hop, with explosive swing moves interpreted by each member in their individual style, that come together as a social movement that creates a powerful group statement.
