Elisabet Montllor vuelve al Madrid Swing Exchange con un taller de Solo Blues ✨
Su enfoque: bailar emociones más que pasos, algo que define su trayectoria como bailarina y profesora de bailes afroamericanos.
Con 18 años de experiencia y formación en varios estilos, se ha centrado especialmente en jazz y blues. Ha enseñado en festivales internacionales, fue creadora del Winter Black Swing Festival y ganó la Solo Jazz Battle en esa misma competición.
Recientemente ha sido invitada por Chester Whitmore a bailar en L.A., donde aprendió y presentó la coreografía “California Orange” en Camp Hollywood, siendo una de las dos únicas bailarinas en Europa que la han estudiado.

Elisabet Montlloris back with us at the Madrid Swing Exchange with a Solo Blues workshop ✨
She focuses on interpreting emotions rather than just dance steps, a philosophy that defines her career both as a dancer and teacher of Afro-American dances.
With 18 years of experience and training across various styles, she is now honing in more specifically on jazz and blues. She has taught at several international festivals, and indeed was involved in creating the Winter Black Swing Festival (serving as artistic director for 5 years’), where she also competed in and won the Solo Jazz Battle.
Recently, she was invited by Chester Whitmore to dance in L.A., where she learned and performed the choreography “California Orange” at Camp Hollywood, becoming one of only two dancers in Europe to have studied this vintage-style classic.
Her classes at the Círculo de Baile are renowned as special: she throws herself into projects like “Express Yourself” and “Círculo Live Session,” creating spaces where music and dance meet —where musicians and dancers join together to breathe life into a common endeavour that can really inspire onlookers.
