Flamingo Five Jazz Band, trae a Madrid Swing Exchange un repertorio de estilos super bailables y divertidos, desde el swing al hot jazz, pasando por el blues, alguna balada e incluso algo de rhythm and blues.
El grupo que abrió la música swing el año pasado; una formación nueva que nos puso en marcha para todo el fin de semana.
Se juntan varios meses al año, cuando los músicos que la componen coinciden en Madrid de vuelta de tocar por medio mundo ¡y en mayo, en el Exchange de Madrid es uno de esos meses! Daniele, su bandleader, ha dirigido bandas de swing para bailar como los inolvidables Madrid Hot Jazz Band.
Paloma Antara, la vocalista de jazz australiana afincada aquí, colabora con músicos de jazz y swing infundiendo la energía de su cálida voz a clásicos eternos.

Flamingo Five Jazz Band, brings the Madrid Swing Exchange a varied repertoire of fun, highly danceable styles, from swing to hot jazz, including blues, the occasional ballad, and even some rhythm & blues. Last year, they opened our festival as newcomers, and kept us dancing the entire weekend. They get together every time the musicians coincide in Madrid, back from playing venues the world over. And we’re lucky! May, at the Madrid Exchange, is one of those times! Daniele, their bandleader, has directed several swing dance bands, including our unforgettable Madrid Hot Jazz Band.

Paloma Antara, the Australian jazz vocalist based here, fronts many great jazz and swing musicians, infusing the energy of her warm voice into timeless classics.
