👩🦯➡️👨🦯➡️La ruta guiada del viernes del VIII Madrid Swing Exchange se convirtió en la actividad estrella de no-baile del fin de semana. ¡Aunque bailar, también se bailó! 💃🕺
👨🏿🦯➡️👨🏿🦯➡️Recorrimos lugares emblemáticos y seguimos el rastro de los locales de jazz originales de la capital. Fue un viaje en el tiempo en el que descubrimos que, mientras nuestra comunidad actual de lindy hop empezó a gastar suela en esos mismos sitios hace poco más de diez años, Madrid ya vibraba con el jazz bailable desde mediados del siglo pasado. 🎷🎺

👩🦯➡️👨🦯➡️ Friday’s guided tour at the 8th Madrid Swing Exchange was hands down the ultimate non-dancing highlight of the weekend. Though, let’s be real—we definitely sneaked in some dancing along the way, too! 💃🕺
👨🏿🦯➡️👨🏿🦯➡️We hit up iconic landmarks and retraced the steps of the capital’s original jazz hotspots. It was an incredible trip down memory lane. We discovered that while our current lindy hop community started cutting a rug in these very same spots just over ten years ago, Madrid was already buzzing with danceable jazz back in the mid-20th century! 🎷🎺
