The Sentimental Gentlemen vuelven a Madrid Swing Exchange con una nueva descarga del swing más bailable de los años 30 y 40.
Esta formación madrileña, creada en 2022, se dedica exclusivamente a interpretar música swing de esas décadas, siguiendo el estilo de los grandes maestros.
Su repertorio —más de 90 temas— está cuidadosamente seleccionado y arreglado para la comunidad de bailarines de Lindy Hop, Balboa y Blues, que disfrutarán de un directo lleno de energía, sutileza y, sobre todo, toneladas de swing.
Nacidos en Big Mama Ballroom, The Sentimental Gentlemen se han consolidado en los festivales de swing más reconocidos. Su última actuación estelar fue en Snowball (Estocolmo), donde hicieron bailar en todas las pistas —swing, balboa y blues— con su versatilidad y estilo inconfundible. ¡Tocan todos los palos!
Tienen un disco ya grabado cuya publicación esperamos con muchas ganas. ¿Para cuándo la buena noticia?
Y un adelanto: vendrán con una vocalista invitada, aunque todavía no podemos revelar su nombre… Solo diremos que merece la espera.

The Sentimental Gentlemen return to the Madrid Swing Exchange with a new blast of the dance hits from the 30s and 40s.Its Madrid-based musicians got together in 2022, to exclusively perform swing dance music, picking up on the style of the great masters of those times. Their repertoire —over 90 songs— is carefully selected and arranged for the Lindy Hop, Balboa and Blues dance communities, who will enjoy how their live performance brims with energy, subtlety and, above all, bucketloads of swing.
Having begun at Big Mama Ballroom,, The Sentimental Gentlemen have consolidated their reputation at the most renowned swing festivals. Their last stellar performance was at the Snowball (Stockholm), where they kept everyone swinging on all the dance floors —swing, balboa, and blues— with their versatility and unmistakable style.
They’ve already recorded an album whose release we are eagerly awaiting. When will we get the good news?
And a little teaser: they will be joined by a guest vocalist, and since we can’t reveal her name just yet… we’ll only say (softly so no-one else can hear!): she’s well worth the wait.
