The Perdidos al Swing

The Perdidos al Swing traen su buen rollo y su música pensada para bailar a Madrid Swing Exchange. En sesión abierta de calle, para disfrute de todo el mundo.
Son un colectivo de músicos de diferentes orígenes e influencias, unidos por un solo propósito: compartir y difundir la cultura del swing a través de sus ritmos, desde los años 20 hasta los 50.
Saben qué nos gusta porque entre sus filas hay quien también baila. Su presentación oficial para la asociación fue el año pasado en Swing en la Biblioteca. Si quieres escucharles ya mismo, acércate a Madrid Río en fin de semana a mediodía y les pillarás ensayando. Mmm, así se explica el nombre 🙂

The Perdidos al Swing are bringing their get-you-dancing music to the Madrid Swing Exchange. out on the street, so everyone can enjoy them.

With different backgrounds and influences, their shared purpose brought them together: to share and spread swing culture, to delight us with their rhythms from the 1920s and up until the ‘50s. They know exactly what we like because their line-up includes fellow dancers.

Their name (literally ”From Lost to the Swing”) comes from the Spanish saying “from Lost to the River”, meaning if you’re lost, then just go for it… go for the river! And that’s where you might catch them on weekends, practicing by the river at Madrid Río.
